WP1 - PREPARATION OF THE PROJECT – INQUIRY AND FIELDS SURVEY

In Depth analysis of the State of Art

Lead organisation: UdSdP

Tasks:

1.1. Bibliographical research on farm and milk production

1.2. Field survey to Uzbek HEIs and farms

1.3. Inquiry on teaching of farm animals and Dairy quality control, including student feedback

1.4. Inquiry of veterinarians and food technicians in Uzbekistan, on what and how should the teaching institutions train their students

1.5. Inquiry of owners and stakeholders of farm animals on what they most need from the professionals working on the ground

1.6. Inquiry on the farms of Uzbekistan (characterization of farm animal and milk production)

1.7. Data analysis and report

 

WP2 - DEVELOPMENT OF A PROJECT PLATFORM (iBUzNet) AND A BLENDED LEARNING INTERFACE(BLUzVet)

Production of a bilingual project platform and a B-learning interface

Lead organisation: U.Porto

Tasks:

2.1. Implementation of digital platform that will work as home base for the project hosting all documents, communications and dissemination activities

2.2. Production of interface for B-learning under the advice of teachers to be used on the blended learning activities

2.3. Testing interface

 

WP3 - TRAINING OF TRAINERS

Theoretical and practical training of five staff members from each Uzbek partner University in the four EU HEIs in new approaches and techniques in teaching and learning in ruminants clinical and reproduction and dairy quality control.

Lead organisation: TSAU

Tasks:

3.1. Uzbek academic staff training in EU HEIs (visit of 4 teachers -one from each Uzbek HEIs - to the European members of the consortium during 2 months: total of 5 groups of 4 teachers)

 

WP4 - SET-UP OF A COMPUTER ROOM FOR THE STUDENTS, EQUIPMENT PURCHASE AND UP-GRADE OF THE LIBRARY

A computer room, freely open to both students and teachers, connected to internet is mandatory in order to allow full involvement of all actors in the B-leaning environment.

Lead organisation: UNIPI

Tasks:

4.1. Procurement, purchase and settlement of equipment essential to implement the B-learning system and the contextualized hands-on learning environment in the Uzbek HEIs

4.2. Procurement and purchase of books and on-line subscriptions of relevant journals and books to implement the contextualized hands-on learning environment in the Uzbek HEIs

 

WP5 - IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BLENDED LEARNING INTERFACE (BLUzVet)

Implementation of the Blended leaning interface (BLUzVet)

Lead organisation: EMU

Tasks:

5.1. Creation B-learning Commission to ensure proper scientific management of the interface, with a representative from each HEIs of the consortium

5.2. Uzbek teachers will produce and up-load cases for B-learning (during their retraining period in each EU HEIs)

5.3. Cases will be discussed by students and teachers of all HEIs of the consortium

5.4. Students up-load cases guided by the teachers who were in the European HEIs

5.5. Cases will be discussed by teachers, students, field veterinaries and other stakeholders of the project

5.6. B-learning cases used as an examination tool in all HEIs of the consortium

 

WP6 - DESIGN OF UP-DATED CURRICULA

Design and Implementation of a new veterinary medicine and zootechnique curriculum based on the data collected, new experience, on contextualized hands-on learning/teaching gained and the new potential of the B-learning platform and new equipment purchased.

Lead organisation: TSAUAn

Tasks:

6.1. Creation of a Curriculum Commission with a member from each HEI, and development of curricula that favour international relations between Uzbekistan and European HEIs;

6.2. Mapping knowledge and skill to be reached by the students at the end of the learning period (day one skills);

6.3. Development of new Veterinary Medicine Curriculum;

6.4. Development of new Zootechnique Curriculum;

6.5. Submission of the new Curricula for official approval;

6.6. Implementation new Curricula.

 

WP7 - QUALITY PLAN

Development of the quality plan and project quality follow-up

Lead organisation: NuTSAU

Tasks:

7.1. Development of the quality plan with the roadmap and definition of the quality parameters

7.2. External scientific midterm audit

7.3. External financial final audit

 

WP8 - DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION

Dissemination of the project’s activities

Lead organisation: SIVM

Tasks:

8.1. Dissemination on web Platform (iBUzNet)

8.2. Dissemination in Web's HEIs

8.3. Design, elaboration, printing of didactic and promotional materials

8.4. Dissemination of BUzNet in info-days, press, etc.

8.5. Project networking on platform and website intranet

8.6. Project dissemination on Kick-Off meeting Conference, targeting Uzbek Official entities and national and international stakeholders

8.7. Project dissemination final meeting International Congress of Veterinary Higher Education in SamVMI Uzbekistan, both at National and International level

 

WP9 - MANAGEMENT

Structure, composed by all project partners and components, that guarantees smooth project management and contribute to the quality of outcomes.

Lead organisation: U.PORTO

Tasks:

9.1. Organization and implementation of BUzNet meetings and congresses

9.2. Visit to Uzbek HEIs by SC during project second year and after equipment, library, computer room has been settled and curricular update finished

9.3. Day to day management

9.4. Elaboration of reports and minutes to be submitted to the EACEA
